Regardless of all the negetive comments, I loved your idea. It may take a little more effort than to marinate and stuff, but I do the same to a whole chicken, and the flavor is so much better. Run now gobble later Turkey Keep up the great work!!! Now I’m hungry

any bacteria remaining would be burned off by cooking, no need to slather such bacteria on your hands, clothes, sink, countertops etc. If you must you can wipe a clean moist wash cloth over it, Run now gobble later Turkey but really you’re doing more damage than good Anyone who don’t know how to wash meats and clean up any possible contamination should really stay out of the kitchen because the meats are in need of washing.
When it’s rolled up, that’s a pretty thick slab of meat and stuffing. I think it would take more than 45 minutes to an hour to cook all the way in the center. Be sure to use a meat thermometer if you try this. I don’t know if I’d want to trade my traditional Thanksgiving turkey and dressing for this, but it looks good. I love the idea of this but first you have to spatchcock the whole turkey to get the entire breast off the bone and flatten it out. And those potatoes have far too much milk, I think. It’s all a matter of personal taste, or what your family likes. I would like to try the turkey though. The turkey looks good! But that is a terrible way to make mashed potatoes. The huge mistake is putting it through a mesh strainer. Perfect flavor with the garlic. But mash it with a masher and then whisk in the butter, milk, and cream.
